AnchorRIDES Fares and Donations

Various programs provide services using AnchorRIDES vehicles, and each sets different fare rates. Please refer to the services below.  All fare and donation payments can be made using the following methods:

Fare and Donation Payment Methods:

  1. Call AnchorRIDES Customer Service at 343-2550 to set up a credit account and charge a credit or bank check card. If you do not have a credit or back check card, you can mail in a check or money order. This allows pre-payment of the fare and avoid the need to have exact cash or tickets. When a trip is booked, the appropriate fare will be encumbered. When a trip is performed, the fare will be deducted from the “Ticketless Fare Account”. If the fare is cancelled or not performed, the fare is returned to your account.
  2. Cash Payments- Fares and donations can be deposited in the farebox on the vehicle. Drivers are to avoid handling passenger fares, so please drop the fare in the farebox yourself or observe the driver put the fare into the farebox.
  3. Ticket Booklets- A booklet of 20 ticket coupons may be purchased for $60.00 by
    • Visiting the AnchorRIDES office at 9525 King Street.
    • Calling 562-8444 and set up payment by credit card.
