NOTE: On Wednesdays, the Permit Counter has limited service from 8 a.m.-9 a.m. and plan review has limited service until 10 a.m. to facilitate consistency meetings.

Permit submittals [new applications, change orders, etc.] must be received in the permit office before 4 p.m. Please call the Building Safety office at 343-8301 if you cannot make the 4 p.m. deadline, as we may be able to make arrangements to accommodate a late submittal.

2006 Local Amendments
These are the  local amendments for the 2006 series of codes. They were adopted by the Anchorage Assembly on January 29, 2008 and became effective January 30, 2008.
